Chizhovskoye reservoir is situated in the south-eastern part of Minsk. It is a large artificial reservoir with area of 1,6 km2. It was founded in 1949 on the river Svisloch. It connects Loshitskaya and Slepnyanskaya water system. There are few islands on the reservoir. Reed and cattail grow along the banks which enables many waterfowl species to nest.
